You know when you're going out with a guy for a long time and you know you love him, but you don't exactly think about it all the time and then he does something out of the blue that knocks you off your feet all over again?  It could be something accidental like the way he pronounces a certain word or something deliberate, like leaving a list of reasons that he loves you under your pillow. It's just like any other day then something beautiful happens to make you fall in love all over again.

Well today as I drove to work under a dreary sky and I heard Obama announce that the ban on Stem Cell research will be lifted and funding and testing will continue, and my heart just lept out of its chest. Ah, he is just so dreamy. The way he said it with such resolve. The way it's only March he's already choosing people's feelings over cells that Bush thought maybe God didn't want us to touch. Go science. Gobama. Today it's the big things that remind me why I love my president. And this is huge.
