Dear Mr. McQueen My Heart is Breaking.

I would have worn this outfit to an interview at Lehman Brothers. That's right. And then to dinner with friends. And then to the party and then to the party after the party. You get the jist. No one else but McQueen could make an outfit both sexy, silly and serious as hell; the kind of outfit you could eat cereal and smoke a cigarette in.

This particular piece makes me think of Keith Herring. Which is why I'm so prone to favor fashion because, as we know, it's moving art.  Alexander McQueen gave art a heartbeat.
